Re-Vita Plus Bones and
Joints Formula...
Nourishes the skeletal system and body!
Re-Vita Plus Bones and Joints Formula is designed to nourish the skeletal system
and body. The U.S. has the highest rate of osteoporotic fractures in the world due
to abusive diets. Osteoporosis effects 20 million Americans and has been linked to
low calcium intakes. As of the year 2000, 23% of patients in rest homes have
osteoporotic problems. Calcium is an essential mineral in bone formation, muscle
contraction, and heartbeat strength and rhythm. Glucosamine is also a vital
component in bones and joints. Our formula also contains proanthocyanidins and is
compatible with our Re-Vita Derm Formula.
| When you were a child, your mother probably told
you to drink your milk so you'd have strong bones and teeth. But recent research has found
that there's a lot more to be gained from calcium. Calcium is the most abundant mineral in
our bodies. It is found in our bones, tissues and teeth. Calcium cannot be manufactured
internally which means we must consume calcium in order for our bodies to function
properly. At least 1000 mg of calcium is needed for most people. Teens and seniors need
more. |

Calcium has important health benefits beyond the skeleton. Two Columbia
University studies published by The Journal of the American Medical Association suggest
that calcium helps prevent colon cancer by reducing the growth of colon polyps (which is
where most colon cancer develops). Calcium also helps produce saliva and enzymes that aid
in digestion and plays a role in blood clotting, contributing to healing.
A new study, conducted in New Zealand, provides some of the strongest evidence yet that
extra calcium keeps women's bones strong after menopause. Women typically lose bone
density after menopause, increasing their risk of fractures.
Here's some important information you need to know about calcium:
You must have Vitamin D to absorb calcium. If
you live in a sunless northern
climate or don't get outside much, be sure to get your daily
requirement of
Vitamin D.
Exercise helps your body absorb calcium.
Non-fat milk has the same amount of calcium as
2% and whole milk.
If you have a personal history of kidney stones,
check with your doctor before
taking calcium supplements.
